William Jones Interview On Pale Blooms And Beyond

La Porta Nuova singer, guitarist and songwriter William Jones was recently interviewed by Greg Shanks for the Pale Blooms And Beyond channel on YouTube. The hour-long-plus interview covers William’s origins, childhood and long musical career, taking in the 35 years of Friends and the three years so far with his current band.

He talks about songwriting, recording, moving to Italy, touring to Japan and other highlights of his life as a musician. There’s an insight into his influences and favourite musicians, living in Turin and the reasons for finishing working with his old band Friends.

Coincidentally some of William’s favourite artists are featured on the channel, so he was honoured to join the pantheon of great musicians who appear there.
