Sundrowned is actually Friends’ fifth self-financed album, containing an amazing 16 tracks. Each is well-crafted, pastoral pop with lashings of acoustic guitars, blasts of trumpets, keyboards and everything else you could ever want in a pop group. Highpoints include Will You Write?, That’s The One and Get Together, which was probably the inspiration behind the half man, half woman, nude picture on the cover.
