Friends

Friends formed in 1986 in Stockton-on-Tees, north east England. Singer, guitarist and songwriter William Jones was the constant factor in the band, which released 12 albums and seven singles before finishing in 2021. Several of the albums were licensed to Japanese labels and the band toured in England, Europe and Japan. The music is classic English romantic pop, led by trumpet or guitar riffs and very English-sounding vocals.
